Reliability

Easy maintenance
All parts are easily accessible via the front panel (RF modules, electronic control boards) or via the rear panel (fans, combiners).

Modularity
The amplifier is composed of 10 easily extractable 500W RF units.

Reduced size and weight
The whole FM transmitter is housed in a 20-unit rack including space for the exciter.

Cost/performance with energy efficiency
Choices on design brought the unit costs to be as close as possible to tube amplifiers: a prime design objective. The high efficiency (over 70% for the RF stage at 98MHz) and the high power gain (150W input per 5000W output) results in low energy consumption.
